The Unclench Ritual
When: every Friday & fortnightly Tuesday evenings
Price: £175 Duration: 75 mins
This deep-release acupuncture treatment helps you fully let go by unwinding tension carried throughout your whole body, especially in the jaw area. And it's the perfect partner to The Jawbreaker facial!
Your session begins with an in-depth consultation, where Cassie uses Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to understand what's driving the tension you’re experiencing. She'll then use facial & body acupuncture points to release tightness at its source, followed by soothing facial massage & facial cupping to soften, sculpt and depuff facial contours.
We tend to hold a lot of stress in our shoulder area, so Cassie will incorporate a shoulder & neck massage to further melt away stress. Where indicated, fire cupping will also be added to the upper back region - an ancient technique that uses heat to draw out deep-held tension and boost circulation. An incredible feeling when it's cold outside!
Post treatment, expect a softer jaw, dropped shoulders, and a deep sigh of relief. The effects are cumulative and regular sessions may be needed. This treatment also pairs beautifully with The Jawbreaker facial and The Knotty One massage for those looking for full 360° holistic care - a package incorporating all three treatments is available.
Treatment includes:
- In-depth consultation
- Facial & body acupuncture
- Facial massage & cupping
- Shoulder & neck massage
- Fire cupping (where indicated)
N.b. there is a risk of bruising with cupping, so it's best to book this treatment 5-7 days before any special events. Also, you must wait 6 weeks after any Botox or filler before having a facial acupuncture treatment.
Not safe for pregnancy
